The Challenge

How does any amateur golfer with  a dream ever earn a chance to play a round of golf at Augusta National?  It is a true once in a lifetime opportunity.  By what chance can this opportunity arise?  Raising awareness, sharing a concept, networking and achieving exposure properly can only help.  And so I set off to find a way to offer the privilege of a round at Augusta to at least one lucky person each year.  A lottery where individuals make a small annual donation, or perhaps a more significant one time lifetime donation, in order to be in a drawing for the once in a lifetime chance to play a round of golf on the hallowed grounds of Augusta National.  This would raise a ton of money for unbelievably great causes, and ultimately do nothing but good.

Wouldn't it be great to put together a means of using this website to raise money for charity, while providing deserving souls an opportunity to "sign up" for a possible chance to play a single round of golf at Augusta?

Example:

Individuals are encouraged to make a $100 or $200 charitable donation to the Jimmy Fund or other great charity.

With each donation, the individual earns a single entry into an annual drawing.

In the drawing, the winner whose name is drawn would earn a chance to join an Augusta National member and realize his "Augusta Dream", to play a round of golf at Augusta National Golf Club.
